Make software quality part of delivery
Quality is easier to sustain when testing, feedback and release readiness are considered throughout the work.
Quality is not a final gate that can be added after the product is built. It grows from the way a team makes decisions, checks its assumptions and prepares changes for release.
Agree on what matters
Different products have different quality needs. Begin by identifying the experiences and behaviours that matter most, then give the team a shared way to review them.
A focused set of checks is easier to maintain than a collection of tests with no clear connection to user needs or product risks.
Get feedback early
Reviewing work as it develops helps teams find misunderstandings while they are still easy to address. That can include design feedback, code review, automated checks and hands-on testing.
The point is not to add ceremony. Keep feedback close to the work and make the next action clear when a check finds an issue.
Treat release as a team decision
A release checklist can make expectations visible: what has been tested, what remains uncertain and how the team will respond if something needs attention.
Clear ownership and thoughtful monitoring help teams learn from each release and improve the process over time.
